The winner of the John Maynard Smith Prize 2023 is Dr Paul Jay, currently a postdoctoral fellow at Copenhagen and Berkeley. Paul will give the 2023 JMS prize lecture at the next ESEB Congress in Barcelona and has been offered a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin.
The runner-up is Olivia S. Harringmeyer, Harvard University, US.
