The Journ­al of Evol­u­tion­ary Bio­logy is a peer-reviewed, inter­na­tion­al journ­al owned by the European Soci­ety for Evol­u­tion­ary Bio­logy. It cov­ers both micro- and macro-evol­u­tion of all types of organ­isms. The aim of the journ­al is to integ­rate per­spect­ives across molecu­lar and micro­bi­al evol­u­tion, beha­viour, genet­ics, eco­logy, life his­tor­ies, devel­op­ment, palae­on­to­logy, sys­tem­at­ics and morphology.

Launched in 2016, Evol­u­tion Let­ters pub­lishes cut­ting-edge new research in all areas of Evol­u­tion­ary Bio­logy. The journ­al is jointly owned by the European Soci­ety for Evol­u­tion­ary Bio­logy  and the Soci­ety for the Study of Evol­u­tion. Evol­u­tion Let­ters is avail­able exclus­ively online, and entirely open access.
