The winner of the John Maynard Smith Prize 2024 is Dr Magdalena Bohutínská, currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions fellow at the University of Bern, CH, and Charles University, CZ. Dr Bohutínská will present her research in the ESEB ECR symposium at the Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology in Montreal, CA, and has been offered a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin.
The runner-up is Dr Emily Roycroft, currently an Australian Research Council DECRA Fellow at the Australian National University. Dr Roycroft will present her research in the ESEB ECR symposium at the Joint Congress on Evolutionary Biology in Montreal, Canada.
