ESEB | European Society for Evolutionary Biology
The winner of the John Maynard Smith Prize 2025 is Dr Hiroshi Arai, currently a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science postdoctoral fellow at the University of Liverpool. Dr Arai will present his research an the ESEB Congress in Barcelona, Spain, and has been offered a fellowship at the Institute for Advanced Study in Berlin.
The runner-up is Dr Kaleda Denton, currently an Omidyar Postdoctoral Fellow at the Santa Fe Institute, USA.
